RESUME
I am a former Cultural Arts Program Coordinator of the two campuses of Elizabeth Seton School and a Board Member of Faculty and Staff Empowerment Collegiality Council (FASECC). As Cultural Arts Coordinator, I am in charge of managing trainers and students for cultural arts performances and activities. Some of my duties are: a) build up income to finance this special program by creating fund-raising events; b) communicate with the community and businesses to solicit sponsorship and donations; c) conceptualize and develop projects wherein skills and talents of the students may be nurtured to help them enhance their confidence and love for cultural heritage.
I was High School Filipino Subject Area Coordinator for two consecutive school years (2012-2014). It was my duty to ensure the continual development and improvement of the department and students as well.
I have initiated and superintended events during my employment in the school, namely: a) annual Buwan ng Wika celebrations of the High School Unit; b) a pageant titled “Lakan at Lakambini ng Seton”’; and c) inter-school fashion competitions; d) DigiPelikula, an independent film festival for high school student filmmakers.
Aside from my position in the academe, I am also lending my time and knowledge in the ministry I founded, Light of Life, where I am serving as Project Director. We are reaching out to some of the indigent pupils who are enrolled at Pamplona I Elementary School. Our curriculum includes sharing and teaching them God’s Word through Bible story-telling, giving motivational reading classes, and writing activities. We likewise feed the children to attend to their nutritional needs.
I also had the experience in working as a Production Assistant in an Indie Film in 2005, as a talent in television in 2007 and a part-time commercial model in 2003. I was also a member of St. Joseph Parish Mixed Choir from 1994-2009 where I became President during the last two years of my stay in the group.
